Work Health & Safety Risk Failures

The following table contains a limited example list of publicly identified failures the City of Melville has refused to remedy

Documented evidence demonstrating accuracy is held.

This table will be amended from time to time, deleting remedied item and adding contemporaneous issues.

S1Volunteers are abused WHS Act LGA. s 5.41 & s5.44Volunteers are managed without the authority to do so – no valid Policy. Volunteers are treated contrary to the City’s management manuals and the WHS Act is also not applied. Volunteers are abused and defamed in written correspondence. “Friends of” coordinators are bullied and coerced.
S2Volunteers are refused lawful compliance with the Work Health and Safety ActCity officers act to intentionally prevent and obstruct lawful access to legislated safe workplace provisions under the Work Health and Safety Act. The City had improperly employed their lawyers to pervert the course of Justice
S3False Accusations DARVOCity staff persist in unevidenced and otherwise false accusations that are not addressed in conformance with the City’s complaint management Policies. staff are skilled at DARVO – Denying fault, Accusing complainant and Reversing Victim to become Offender.
S4Intentional DefamationCity staff write correspondence to outside third parties purposefully publishing false and misleading claims and accusations to denigrate community members.
S5Workplace Safety Risk.There are publicly known examples of members of the community receiving substandard treatment by officers of the City. The City of Melville office is not a safe place for members of the community to attend without a witness escort.
S6Physical obstruction and assaultMembers of the Community have been improperly ejected or obstructed lawful attendances.
There is record of at least one City officer has been convicted of assault and whose employment remains protected.
